I'm not sure that this will appeal to many of our members but here is the first review I've seen of the new AML Taraf.

http://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/lagonda-taraf/first-drive

I was tempted to post this in the 'V12' section but didn't want to risk being drummed out of the club...

(I have seen this car and think it is astonishing - if large modern cars floats your boat.)

Comments?

Drummed out of the Club, I love that Grinning

Seriously though, while I have not seen in the metal to me eyes it's a wonderful piece of design especially when you consider it's based on the existing Aston HV Platform. I love the looks, it's the perfect modern take on the Towns Lagonda and in my view it has oodles more class than say a modern VW Bentley or Rolls.

If I were a high powered industry magnate I'd have one to waft me up to my Mayfair office. As it happens I'm not Wink

It would be great if a few Taraf owners joined the club. We would open a new section on the forum for them.

Rich, AML brought one along to the AMOC Woburn Spring Concours. Shame you missed it but I was fortunate that my 1.5 litre mkII was parked near it so had plenty of time to decide whether I like it.

I sat in the back of the bronze one at Newport Pagnell last May, quite cramped because of the rear axle impinging on space. Also the rear doors are low meaning you have to duck to get in or out if more than say 5ft6 tall. Beautifully done though but is it really £575k worth?

Good feature on both the Towns Lagonda and the Lagonda Taraf in this month's Octane. Photography well up to their usual standard. I you like these big Lagondas it's worth reading.
