Subject: What are these?
I have these four brackets left over - they are around 3/4" long, the exhaust hangers should give a sense of scale. They were with the front seat nuts and bolts but are too small to be part of the hinges. They look like they belong with the picnic tables? Anyone recognise them?

Many thanks

I don't recognise them as part of the picnic tables hinge mechanism. Something to do with front seat runners? E.g. end stops. Sorry no joy with that piece of door trim

Thanks for looking. I decided to make the part in question today, much harder said than done but it turned out okay.

As for these brackets, I'll look around the runners but I wouldn't have thought they would be up to the job. The rear seat base seems quite loose, what holds it in place?

Gravity! And alignment of frame and support, plus tucking the rear of the squab under the seat-back

It was quite annoying to see all my seat belt buckles disappear down the back because it moved forwards a bit. It does fit well but some kind of re-assuring clunk as it slots in would be nice.

For mine to move forward I have to slightly lift up the front of the seat...

Thanks for the tip David, a bit of adjustment and it now sits in the right place! Still haven't found what those brackets are for...

Do they hold the rear seat swab in place. By clipping the
wires into them. But not knowing the make up of the
swabs I`m only guessing. Great job on the restoration.
Ray.
