Subject: 1953 2.6 / 3.0 litre mk 1 dhc for sale Yet another 3.0 litre dhc appears for sale, this one is in the UK, and it is an early car, a Mk 1 model. However, I suspect this could have been one of the Brooklands bodied batch of 2.6 Mk 2 chassis's. The engine appears to be a 2.6 litre unit in there, with early style thermostat housing. This was changed for the oblong casting when the 3.0 litre engine is present.
