The car sold for 27,500 including buyers premium and VAT about right for one of these cars needing a full restoration.

This wonderful car (one of the cars on my list I would love to own, I like the saloons very much) is also coming up on 16th June at H & H, with no reserve:

Strange that the open boot suggests that amongst the "spares" that come with the car is a V12 sump!

I like the car, very elegant indeed, although lots of work of course to sort out, but you motor in real style...

Hi,
Am I missing something here? What open boot and what V12 sump?
Would be nice to see this restored but at a good 250k to restore properly it would be a serious no no on a car worth about 130k perfectly restored at the moment, unless you just want it and are lucky enough that you don't need to worry about cost. Shame!

The pdf has the same pix. You do need to click on "Further Photos" but if Julian has seen the open boot pic he already has.

At the previous H&H sale there was an LG45 dhc which seemed quite nice but didn't sell, the £70k top bid not being enough to buy it. This was the black & blue car - to me the blue tone seemed to miss the mark.

Bonham's have another coming up, too:

And the ex TASO Mathiesen V12:
