Hi Peter,
It has a lot of similarities to an LG45 shell, but it's not. LG45 shells have a cut out three quarters up the sides to fit round the head light bar. Also LG45s don't have the upstand round the filler hole. The shape at the bottom is very similar though. From looking at a few M45 pix I feel you may be in luck.
