Subject: Selling your Lagonda
A recent case lets me start this topic, my opinion:
When you want or have to sell your Lagonda, put it on this forum (for free) and in parallel in the club newsletter.
If you want it wider spread because you are in a hurry, use any of the dedicated internet adresses like prewarcar.com or carandclassic.co.uk or classiccarsforsale.com. Cost you very little time and money.
If you give your car to a dealer, he will be happy to make a big profit from all the hundreds and thousands of hours you have spent in restoring the car, increases the price by 30-50% from what he paid you, and then he puts it to the same places on the internet. And it may even happen that a next dealer makes profit out of it.
So I suggest: tell your friends first, use the internet for spreading the information, get more money and save the new buyer some money at the same time.
