Subject: 1952 Brooklands Lagonda 2.6/3.0 litre dhc
For sale at the same auction as the well known blue 2.6 dhc, is this beautiful 2-tone Brooklands bodied 2.6 Mk2 chassis. One of only 16 2.6 mk 2 cars bodied with the new 3.0 litre body. I love the early style lights, and Mk1 style dash-board amongst many features...

The engine from the number appears to have been changed to a 3.0 litre, but thermostat housing and radiator are from the original 2.6 litre. Not the first time I have seen this, no doubt changed during 1954, when the 3.0 litre engine came on stream at the works.

I have followed this car for awhile and it has been in Switzerland, I love the two-tone color scheme, and yes I know it may not be original, but with white wall tyres it looks wonderful..

Estimate is £55-60k, a lot of car for the money...
