Subject: 2 litre engine value / for sale
Hello all,
I'm having a bit of a seasonal clear out - some stuff really has to go; too many projects, too little time.
I have a 2 litre engine that I'd like to sell but have no idea as to its value. i bought it about 6 or 7 years ago from a chap planning to build a special (I have the Sunbeam frame and Alvis gearbox he was going to use too, if anyone is interested). Anyway, the engine is complete and appears to be in good working condition. It was said to have been acquired, by the chap who sold it to me, from a very well known LC member (name can be supplied). Apparently, it had been running in that chap's car satisfactorily until he was able to swap it for the (correct) supercharged engine. It has been standing in the corner of our workshop ever since purchase.
I would be very grateful for your thoughts as to value, please. In the meantime, Merry Christmas to all and a healthy, prosperous and happy New year.
